Get ready to strap a jet engine onto your WordPress blog, and fire up the afterburners! Affiliate Afterburner/WP is a premium WordPress plugin that displays ads with your affiliate links in your WordPress content or a sidebar widget.

Easily monetize your blog with affiliate offers from...

  • eBay
  • Amazon.com
  • ClickBank
  • All Posters.com
  • AdSense

More affiliate programs will be added. When they are, you'll get the new modules for free!

Choose from these standard ad sizes:

  • leaderboard - 728x90
  • banner - 468x60
  • half banner - 234x60
  • vertical banner - 120x240
  • skyscraper - 120x600
  • wide skyscraper - 160x600
  • button - 125x125
  • small square - 200x200
  • square - 250x250
  • small rectangle - 180x150
  • medium rectangle - 300x250
  • large rectangle - 336x280

If you want your ads to fill a larger area without a specific size, choose our "content" format. It's an Affiliate Afterburner/WP format that displays larger amounts of content and isn't a fixed size.

"Is it hard to use?"

If you know how to upload files to your website, you should be able to have Affiliate Afterburner/WP up and running in a few minutes. Here's what you'll need to do (the README contains more details, if you need them):

  1. FTP the Affiliate Afterburner/WP files to your WordPress plugins folder.
  2. Activate the plugin in the WordPress control panel.
  3. Go to the Affiliate Afterburner/WP control panel and click a button to set up its database.
  4. Enter your affiliate IDs and keys for the affiliate programs you wish to use.
  5. Add a little piece of code in your blog post content wherever you want ads to appear (you can also have Affiliate Afterburner/WP display ads in sidebar widgets).

Example Screenshots:

A "medium rectangle" ClickBank ad:

A "large rectangle" Amazon ad:

Here's a screenshot of some ClickBank ads from my blog's sidebar, and another with Amazon ads that's displayed inside my blog's content. The code to display the first ads looks like this (as you can see, it's pretty self-explanatory):

[afterburner]
show=medium_rect
program=clickbank
keywords=internet marketing
[/afterburner]

If you want more variety in your ads, you can randomly alternate between different affiliate programs and/or keywords like this:

[afterburner]
show=large_rect
program=clickbank, amazon
keywords=internet marketing, blogging, wordpress
[/afterburner]

It's usually that simple. But if you want to do more complex things, like specifying different keywords for each affiliate program you can do that too:

[afterburner]
show=wide_skyscraper
program=clickbank, amazon, ebay
clickbank{keywords=internet marketing, wordpress}
amazon{keywords=blogging}
ebay{keywords=garden gnome}
[/afterburner]

Why build a content-based affiliate website?

When was the last time you shopped at an affiliate "store"? If you're like most people, you shop at websites you're familiar with. So why build an affiliate store?

When was the last time a search engine sent you to an unfamiliar site for information? Happens all the time, right? If you want web traffic for your affiliate links, build a content-based website and post affiliate links for related products.

Unlike some affiliate site builders, Affiliate Afterburner/WP does not generate a spammy 10,000 page website in 10 seconds. You know the kind - those sites that that no human would ever visit, and no search engine in would believe was created by a real person.

Affiliate Afterburner/WP turns your blog -- your content-based website -- into an affiliate site. Need even more content? Affiliate Afterburner/WP can automatically import content from:

  • RSS feeds - blogs, news site, and much more
  • YouTube - display videos right on your page based on keyword searches, or show the latest videos posted by a particular YouTube user
  • Podcasts - import any podcast - visitors will be able to listen to it right on your page!
